Air Duct Cleaning Before & After in Houston, TX
Photos tell the truth faster than any promise we could print. Below you’ll see real before-and-after narratives from air duct cleaning jobs across Houston, from Cypress to Pearland. Every one includes the same things: a written price before work starts, shoe covers and drop cloths down before tools come in, and a photo of the clean-up before the crew leaves. The dirt in the “before” shots is what Houston air and humidity leave behind. The “after” is what we’re paid to leave.

Galveston-Humidity Coated Return Duct

This return duct pulled air from a hallway near a back door that opened and closed all summer. Coastal humidity settled into the dust and turned it into a paste-like layer on the duct walls. We ran a Rotobrush system through the full return, then followed with a Nikro negative air setup so loosened debris left the house instead of drifting into bedrooms. By the end, the metal was dry and bare. The homeowner said the AC finally stopped smelling like a wet towel.
Master Bedroom Vent with Construction Dust

This home had a bathroom remodel finished months before we arrived, but the crew never sealed the supply vents. Drywall dust worked its way through the branch lines and settled behind every register on that side of the house. We cleaned each branch line individually, brushed the boots, and wiped every visible surface. The result was quiet airflow again, with no more fine white dust appearing on nightstands every few days.
Pet Hair Blocked Living Room Run in Katy

Two large dogs plus carpeting meant this living room run had collected hair and dander for several seasons. The buildup was thick enough to feel at the register. We used Abatement Technologies equipment to pull the pack out, then cleaned the branch line back to the main trunk. The family noticed the room held its temperature better within a day, and the visible dust on the TV stand stopped reappearing as fast. Pet-safe product choices were used throughout the home, which mattered to this crew as much as the owners.
Grease and Lint Film in an Air Handler Cabinet

This home had a kitchen that shared a return path with the main hallway, which pulled cooking residue into the system over a long stretch of time. The inside of the air handler cabinet had a tacky film across the coil housing and blower area. We cleaned the accessible surfaces, then ran the full duct system to remove what had passed further down the line. The homeowner replaced the filter after we left and reported that the air from the vents no longer carried a faint cooked-oil note.
Dryer Vent Exhaust from a Pearland Laundry Room

This dryer had been taking two cycles to finish towels. The vent run was longer than average, with an elbow that had collected lint against the ribs of the flex pipe. We cleared the full run, checked the termination point outside, and had the dryer running normally again before we left. Dryer vents like this are one of the few genuinely dangerous parts of a home’s airflow system, which is exactly why we handle them with the right tools instead of guessing. A clear vent means lower drying costs and less risk in the wall cavity.
Upscale Condo Supply and Return Lines Near Downtown

High-rise living in Houston means shared return air and less room to place furniture. Every room in this condo had to stay untouched while we worked, so drop cloths went down in the entry, the hall, and around each register we opened. We cleaned the supply and return lines, wiped the boots, and left the place ready for photos. The owner said the air felt fresher the same evening, and we had the clean-up photo in hand before the elevator doors closed behind us.
